“Forward Email” Option in the Check & Log Email Plugin

The Forward Email option enhances the Check & Log Email plugin in WordPress by allowing users to forward sent emails. This feature is particularly useful for keeping track of all email communications sent from your WordPress site, ensuring that no important emails are missed. Additionally, it provides options to CC (carbon copy) or BCC (blind carbon copy) recipients on emails, thereby enhancing the functionality and flexibility of your email management system.

Steps to Forward Email option in Check & Log Email Plugin.

Step 1: First, install the plugin from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/ or go to add the plugin and search for “Check & Log Email by checkmail“. Download the plugin and install it.

Step 2: Once you have finished downloading, please ensure that the plugin is active on your end. It will be reflected on WordPress like this.

Step 3: Click on Settings to be redirected to the Plugin dashboard. There, find the “Forward Email” option. Enable this option and add the email address where you want to receive copies of emails from your WordPress site. You can also add multiple email addresses in CC and BCC to send them the same copies of the emails.

Step 4: Here’s an example: Whenever you perform an activity, such as contacting plugin support through WordPress, a copy of that email with details will automatically be sent to the email address you’ve specified.

Here’s how you can use this option. Now, let’s explore some key benefits of this feature.

The primary purpose of the Forward Email Add-on is to archive outgoing emails. By forwarding sent emails to a designated address, users can always have a backup copy available. This is especially beneficial for:

  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensuring communication records meet legal and regulatory standards.
  • Disaster Recovery: Providing a crucial backup in case of data loss.
